Klug Avalon's SLI Solution for mobile/truck crane measures operational parameters such as crane boom length, boom angle, radius, wind speed, outrigger position, slew angle and counterweight to prevent overloading. The solution offers a load plate or a load pin for measuring the load as an alternative to the line-rider load sensor. This increases the accuracy of the SLI and decreases the wear and tear caused to the wire rope.
An additional load pin/plate, usually customised for the crane, provided for sensing the lifted load.*
This enables greater accuracy in lifted load calculation and eliminates the need for a line rider (dynamometer), thus preventing wear and tear of the wire rope.
An integrated anemometer (windspeed sensor) can be provided to warn in case of heavy winds.
