Klug Avalon’s tailor-made solution for gantry cranes has a high accuracy anemometer with a wind vane. Its elliptical cup design monitors the wind dynamics with precision. The solution can be used in tandem lifting. It displays the main, aux, and summation loads on a single display. It provides for a load pin sensor in place of a tensiometer. It has excellent durability and reliability in all weather conditions to monitor wind impact and help eliminate judgemental errors and accidents.
Load measurement option
An additional load pin, usually customised for the crane, provided for sensing the lifted load.*
This enables greater accuracy in lifted load calculation and eliminates the need for a load clamp, thus preventing wear and tear of the wire rope.
Auxiliary hook upgrade
- A load sensor can be added to display the value of a load lifted by an auxiliary hook.
- Tandem lifting sensing is available through the SUM option with CANBUS technology.
Additional indication options
Upgradable system for additional hooks/ jib
- Big LED Display: Standard 4-digit display with 4″ character size. This is upgradable to 8 digits. Display is also available in character sizes of 8″ and 12″.
- OLP Display: Big 2-colour non-numeric display. Indicates with green and red lights. Used for communicating the safety of the crane, weight, approach, and slack.
- SLS Display: Small 2-colour (green and red) non-numeric display to indicate safe-load.
