Klug Avalon’s SLI Solution for articulated-boom cranes has been perfected with the help of several innovations and long years of experience. A significant advantage of this solution comes from using a pressure sensor to calculate the lifted load. Along with load measurement, it also displays the hook radius for ease of operations.
Pressure-based load measurement (optional)
- Dead weights not required for calibration.
- No welding of load sensor to the crane boom. This prevents boom damage.
- Line-rider (dynamometer) is not required. This prevents wire-rope wear & tear.
- High accuracy of load measurement.
Optional load measurement facility
An additional load pin, usually customised for the crane, provided for sensing the lifted load.∗
Enhances load measurement accuracy and eliminates the need for a pressure sensor.
* Customisation can increase lead time.
